CONGREGATION SAFETY PACKAGE

Every child in school is taught how to respond to a threating situation such as a fire or sever weather.

     On every flight, a safety briefing is giving by the Flight team about the plane you are in.

          Companies hold annual safety training or drills for their employees.

But for some reason we seldom speak of safety within our HOW members when they are at services. 

We are launching a campaign to provide any House of Worship with the tools to help have this conversation with their members, in an easy and non threating way at any time throughout the year. In fact, National Preparedness Month (September Ready.gov) is a great opportunity to connect with your members to inform them of emergency procedures that your HOW has in place. In most cases, members are never informed about safety procedures.

What does the package offfer? The package includes a 6 minute non-threating but informative video; a customizable script to be read after the video is played which shoud take another 6 mintues. Finally, we offer a set of optional slides that your AV team can utilize in the event of an incident throughout the year to display. 

You are invited to join the mission to inform all of your congregation or members, at least annually, of safety procedures you have at your House of Worship. This package serves as a great way to have the discussion with those that attend.

But how do you start the conversation during a service, how about something like this as your Faith leader says: "We are joining other Houses of Worship in our Community (during National Preparedness Month) to help support our members around our safety procedures. Please join me in watching this brief video, and after it, we will share with you a few specific safety actions in our House of Worship that we want you to be aware of."

It is that easy. This is a small investment of time that reinforces a culture of care, stewardship, and community—ensuring those who gather with you each week feel both spiritually and physically supported.
